Deck-Plate Mod

After reading about this on Yota-Tech, I decided to give it a try. I have to say this Mod delivers! It was very easy to do, and I recommend it to everyone looking for a little more "oomph" from their Runner.

 

 

 

 

 

Cargo Storage Mod

I experimented with rear storage ideas on my old Jeep XJ, and came up with idea of making a carpeted deck with places underneath to slide plastic tubs in and out. I wanted to go to a higher level with my 4Runner, and I found a couple of folks who had made boxes with a deck and drawers for their Runner. I took measurements; drew up some plans and went to work!

My brother-in-law came over and brought along his knowledge of wood-working. With BOTH of us working on this thing, it still took us most of a day to complete! I hope this gives some of you who are looking to do this an idea of where to begin. Just a warning though.... the industrial strength drawer sliders are EXPENSIVE.

Winch Bumper Fabrication

ToyTec OME 3" Coil Lift

Took about 6 hrs to install coils, Diff Drop and Panhard Bar Drop Bracket. I'm in love with my Runner all over again!
